  • Setting bevel.

    I have recently started using the Chosera 1k and it is quite suitable for bevel setting. I also have the Norton 1k, the Naniwa 1k and the Shapton 1k and the Chosera is probably as good as any of them.

    To determine if my bevel is properly set, I usually do the edge with a Sharpie marker and do a few strokes on the same stone. This is a good test for the bevel set.

    Do not make a move towards the next hone in your progression until the bevel is totally set. Newbies take heed to this advice........................
